	education:	graduated from century college with a manager's license in 2008. trained extensively beneath master stylists, and completed advanced training workshops featuring texturizing techniques, updos, and styling. participated backstage as a stylist for multiple theater productions. studied at college of saint benedict and northwestern, earning my bachelor-of-arts degree in english, may 2011.
	specialties:	precision cuts, round-brushing, detailed foils, "peek-a-boo" color, and updos are my favorites. a hairstyle must look and feel right. i love perfecting consistent styles or collaborating with you for a contemporary style that is still "you." i am an avid cross-checker in all my work, and communicate thoroughly every step of the service to customize your hair. maximizing fine hair and shaping thick hair makes me very happy. if you are wanting to grow your hair long, or take it shorter without buzzing it, i have a store of solutions to save you from those awkward transition periods!
	hobbies + interests:	my passion is creating and restoring. i love painting, knitting (think retro...), writing, reading, editing, hiking, running, salsa dancing, organizing, budgeting, and food-tasting. nothing is better than a good cup of coffee, or tea, with live singer-songwriter music during a great conversation. my dream is to run a half marathon in at least four different states, and to backpack through parts of europe.
